for airborne and ground installation respectively. JetBill at version
2.0 has been reengineered to run on multiple platforms, to support web
interfaces for passenger and crew members and to optimize the on board

JetBill
is an integrated billing system for Airlines.
With JetBill, passengers of commercial flights can be billed before
they disembark the aircraft. JetBill supports the following services:

- • Business travelers support: FAX, VPN, on board printing;
- • In Flight Entertainment: Movies, Music, Games, Gambling;
- • E-Commerce: Duty Free, on board cafe', shopping;

JetBill can bill communication and other services based on volume,
time, item, content. Accounting data for on board services are
passed to GroundBill for settlement and statistical analysis.

GroundBill
is the companion billing product for off board collection of accounting
data, settlement and statistical analysis.
GroundBill can be used by Airlines or Aircraft Operators to enter
contract data with their business partners. Advertisers, Wireless
Internet Service Providers, Content Providers, Mobile Network
Operators, retailers, are all playing a role in the air travel
value chain.
GroundBill supports also different business models and includes
relationships towards Advertisers sending messages or exposing
themselves to JetBill passenger portal JetPortal.
GroundBill produces reports towards the business partners and
reconciliation reports. Statistical analysis allows the airline,
by sophisticated data mining to explore and discover statistics
by business partner, flight, route or combinations thereof.

| JetPortal
is an on board portal which allows passengers equipped with Laptops
or PDA to perform registration, login, authentication, payment
transactions with credit cards and service purchase without crew
intervention.
JetPortal runs on most popular browsers on laptops and PDA on
most popular Operating Systems and automatically detects and adapts
to the passenger configuration.
CrewPortal is the on-board portal for crew members. Orders made
by passenger with JetPortal are rated and filed in the on board
database. Crew members can then display in real time the order
status and perform their duties at convenient times.
CrewPortal can instruct JetBill to produce a sales report for
on board services which can be used by ground personnel to optimize
catering and loading operations.

Furthermore, PlaneBill has a number of applications that can be loaded on passengers or crew PDA, smarthphones, ranging from business to entertainment. With the introduction of PlaneRoaming, communication services can also be offered directly by the Airlines or Aircraft Operators.
